Jim Poage Ph.D., along with his daughter Jennifer Poage who works in fashion design, wrote Flair: Design Your Daily Work, Products, and Services to Energize Customers, Colleagues, and Audiences (Maven House Press, 2016) about creating an emotional, energizing connection with audiences, readers, and customers.  Flair applied the techniques of narrative nonfiction to a business book. Jim founded JLP Performance Consulting to help integrate technology and workers to work seamlessly together. Author of articles and papers for business and technical journals, he earned his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Harvard and an M.S. and B.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford.
