How You Can Participate
- Attend: Most events are free. All events are open to the public. Events that require a ticket are so indicated and include information about how and where to obtain tickets.
- Donate: The festival is produced by a non-profit foundation and depends greatly on individual support. Tax deductible donations in any amount are encouraged and can be made online.

Book: Thesaurus Rex
Laya Steinberg has been an artist and writer most of her life. She graduated from Massachusetts College of Art where she studied illustration and graphic design. After graduation she worked in the graphic design field and continues to do so today. After work and on weekends she wrote poetry, and when she had children of her own, she began to write children’s books.
Thesaurus Rex features a playful young dinosaur who has a way with words. Children will delight in following the adventurous character as he bounces, jumps, springs, and flies through the colorful pages, all the while introducing them to the wide world of synonyms.
