Book: Rose in a Storm
Jon Katz has written eighteen books—six novels and twelve works of nonfiction, including Izzy & Lenore, Dog Days, Soul of a Dog, and The Dogs of Bedlam Farm. A two-time finalist for the National Magazine Award, he writes for the online magazine Slate, and has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Rolling Stone. He is co-host of the radio show Dog Talk on Northeast Public Radio.
His new novel, Rose in a Storm, is his first novel inspired by his beloved Bedlam Farm. Told from the point of view of Rose, a tough and dedicated sheep dog, it is a powerful window into the mind of an animal as well as a gripping adventure tale.
