Bill Coyle’s first collection of poetry, The God of This World to His Prophet, won the New Criterion Poetry Prize and was published in 2006. His poems have appeared widely in magazines and anthologies, including the Hudson Review, The New Criterion, the New Republic, and Poetry. He is a translator from the Swedish, and his translations have appeared in Poetry, PN Review and Modern Poetry in Translation, and in the anthologies The Other Side of the Landscape and New European Poets. He teaches in the English Department at Salem State College.
