Matthew Jarpe is a scientist and a science fiction writer. He has his PhD in biochemistry from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He works in drug discovery at a small biotech company in Brighton, MA, called Surface Logix. As a science fiction author he has had six short stories published in Asimov’s Science Fiction and the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. Last August Tor Books published his first novel, Radio Freefall. He lives in Quincy, MA, with his wife, Michelle Morris and their son Sam.
