Chris Howard, author of Seaborn (July 2008) and the forthcoming Sea Throne (both from Juno Books), grew up all over — Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Presidio of San Franscisco, France, Germany, and Japan. He still enjoys traveling, but has settled in Coastal New Hampshire with his wife and two wonderful kids. In 2007, he won the Robert Heinlein Centennial Short Story Contest with “Hammers and Snails.” He paints in watercolors and digital format. His two websites, http://theophrast.us and www.SaltwaterWitch.com) are packed with art, character studies, essays, short stories, and more.
