Events: The Poets of Finishing Line Press
Book: Fragrance Upon His Lips
Helen Marie Casey’s first chapbook, Fragrance Upon His Lips, a narrative sequence of poems about Joan of Arc, was published by Finishing Line Press. Her series of poems about Quaker martyr Mary Dyer, Inconsiderate Madness, won the Black River Chapbook competition and was named a finalist for the 2008 Julia Ward Howe Award by the Boston Authors Club. Her work has appeared in several journals including Tiferet, Runes, America, Connecticut Review, The South Carolina Review, Rosebud, and Louisiana Literature.
