- Attend: Most events are free. All events are open to the public. Events that require a ticket are so indicated and include information about how and where to obtain tickets.
- Donate: The festival is produced by a non-profit foundation and depends greatly on individual support. Tax deductible donations in any amount are encouraged and can be made online.

A food writer and recipe developer, Lisa Zwirn is a regular contributor to the Boston Globe and has written for a number of publications, including Cooking Pleasures, Intermezzo, Fine Cooking, Cooking Light, and Pastry Art & Design.
Zwirn is an avid holiday baker, and her new book, Christmas Cookies, offers fifty wonderful recipes for holiday treats, such as Cocoa Meringue Kisses, Chocolate Peppermint Cookies, and Iced Lemon Rounds. There are treats for chocoholics, holiday shapes that children will love, luxurious sandwich cookies, and plenty of spiced rounds, buttery wafers, and decadent bars.
